The digital readers are how most people meet the publications. The printed editions are why they were made.
Each volume is produced as a hardback bound in linen, with the photographs sequenced exactly as they appear in the reader. The same pacing, the same typography, the same white space, given weight. A publication on a screen asks for your attention. The same publication on a table asks to be returned to, which is a different and better request.
The editions are printed in small numbers and held by the studio. They are not stocked, listed or discounted. Some are kept as the studio’s own record. Others go to the places and people the work documents. The remainder are available by enquiry, while they last.
